Music is the thing that always turns your mood on. It is the thing which makes you relax and soothe your nerves. Whenever you feel like depressed then music cheer and enlighten you up. People who love to play music will be a life to any party due to their artistic talent. Guitar is one of the music instruments that you can see in any rock band. From Elvis Presley to Bryan Adams, this is the oldest instrument with 6 strings that forms wonderful music.

The basic body of guitar consists of soundhole, saddle, bridge, fingerboard, tuners and markers. There are two types of guitar occurs, they are the electric guitar and acoustic guitar. The main difference between acoustic guitars and electric guitars is that the acoustic can be played without an amplifier or cables while electric can be played with a cable. Thus, the acoustic guitar has been traditionally used in genres that call for a quieter and more soothing sound. It is sometimes played with a guitar pick or sometimes strummed with the help of fingertips. Either way, its tones are calming and mellow. If you obtain an electric guitar, additional accessories will be necessary with it. At a minimum, these will include an amplifier, interconnect and a plectrum. One might choose an electric guitar over its equivalent because it is capable of generating hundreds of sounds and this is accomplished through the varieties of pedals available.

An electro acoustic guitar or elecoustic is by design an acoustic guitar fitted with a microphone, pickup or transducers. In electric acoustic guitars, the microphones and transducers are always used because conventional pickups are not capable of picking up vibrations of non-magnetic materials. The term is not synonymous with that of a semi-acoustic guitar, which is conceptually an electric guitar but with the addition of sound chambers within the guitar body itself. Usually, electric acoustic guitars are fitted with piezoelectric pickups, which require a preamplifier incorporated into the guitar body to amplify the signal before it travels to the main guitar amplifier.

One should evaluate electro acoustic guitar on the basis of their tone with and without the use of an amplifier. Some of the factors that affect tone are the wood that is used to make the guitar, the use of composite materials and the shape of the guitar body. Many acoustic-electric guitars feature on-board active electronics that allow the guitarist to shape the sound well when amplified. Guitars with active electronics may cost more up front; however, the active electronics may eliminate the need for pedal effects, which helps in saving their owners money in the long haul.

Active electronics, composite materials and rare woods don’t mean a thing if the guitar does not feel good in your hands. The most important feature one must consider when buying any guitar is how it plays and check if the action is too high or the neck too wide and you find the instrument difficult to play then it is simply the wrong instrument for you to play.
