i’m 14 and i want to learn the acoustic guitar, but my mom said she will only pay for lesons after i learning abit. the thing is, i dont know where to start. can someone help me and tell me where to start?

Start with learning the scale and basic notes to get your fingeres use to it. Then find a song you like and practice that to your hearts content make sure you understand the notes and tempo, don’t just go those the motions. That’s how i was shown. After you have that you should be able to show your mom that you are trying and improving… Good luck and keep praticing.

P.S. There are alot of beginner books in music stores that can help.
