Query by Jack: finding out guitar?
I just began finding out to play the acoustic guitar and my instructor advised me to follow a chord but I do not know how. On the sheet he states to perform “C add nine”. What does that suggest?

That signifies to add a D to the chord.

It is just like a G Key Chord, but commences on the A string.
